I have been cooking since I was a young child, learning from my German mother and assisting her as she cared for my other 5 siblings. I started baking at 15yrs old. My first cooking and baking experience as a married woman was on a woodburning stove and have my share of "interesting" stories. I learned to create with sourdough at 60yrs from a cookbook I inherited from my mother. Cooking and baking have always been an instinctive passion of mine and would like to pass down my traditional stories and recipes to my children and grandchildren...
