Irina Kaminker

I am native Russian, born in Saint Petersburg, graduated from Saint Petersburg State University with b/a and later m/a in liberal arts and sciences majoring in politics of Latin America. At the same time since my early childhood I've been spending most of my free time in Hermitage museum, one of the greatest art museums of the world. After graduating did not see any opportunities to work with Latin American studies so decided to try something I knew about but not quite and went to work to The Russian museum (museum of Russian art). Today after 15 years at the museum I realize that it is not quite what I would like to keep on doing, I want my life to be more creative so now I am exploring the possibilities to make art my profession.
