During high school and college, Mr. Kaye apprenticed in his father's art galleries and picture framing businesses in Wilkes-Barre and Philadelphia. During this time, he developed extensive sketchbooks of the built environment. Throughout his career as an architect, Mr. Kaye has created numerous sketches of the built environment, including urban scenes in Annapolis, Baltimore, and Washington, DC, as well as during his travels around the world.
Currently residing in Edgewater, Maryland, Mr. Kaye continues to engage in urban sketching and has returned to creating more watercolor paintings based on his sketchbooks and travels.
