Francesca Chiara Pirisi

Hi! I’m Francesca, i come from Parma, Italy, and i am a 27 y old highly sensitive creative and creator, owning a (for now very) small business in the field of somatics/ecosomatics. I have a bachelor in Psychology and I specialised as a Feldenkrais Practitioner, so my job today is to offer people the space and tools to get to know themselves better through conscious movement, to re-learn to trust their bodies and intuition and to feel home in themselves. I love nature and arts, so I combine these passions with movement and I’d love to do it even more in the future, studying art therapy, ecosomatics and singing.

I've studied in NUIG Galway as an erasmus student, and i fluently speak English. I also speak French and a little bit of Spanish (though I understand it pretty well). I have a background in music, both privately and at the Conservatory, visual art in highschool and privately, dance and theatre projects.

I've started suffering of pelvic pain 6 years ago and before I've always been very sensitive. So since then I've started a very deep journey into myself and I've slowly begun to see the transformative power and opportunity that my body was giving me through the experience of pain and suffering. I've realised I was not centered, I was not feeling myself and that was the story of meny other women and people. So my mission today is to get to know myself better and better and to act from my sensitivity, as my sensitivity is my vessel to creativity and my superpower, so that I can live a life aligned with my deepest desires and i can share what i learn for me with others who have struggled or struggle with pain, selfdoubt or shame around their sensitivities/diversities.

I think I’ve never started and finished a project without stress, rushing or postponing at some point. It would be my first time and I’m very much looking forward to it.
