Hello everyone. I am from Germany and a registered art therapist with specialiszation in Focusing oriented Expressive Arts FOAT®. I am also a certified Sensorimotor Art Therapy®/Guided Drawing® practitioner and a person-centered Creative Arts Counselor and Psychotherapist. I am working in private practice and in institutions of adult education.

1980-82 I took my undergraduate studies of design techniques and felt attracted to Art Brut. I also practiced wood and stone sculpturing. Studying art therapy I shifted to therapeutic art expression but missed the early practice of international drawing and painting.

I began experimenting with self-pathed art exercises to train aesthetic intuition and artistic expression, and to find ways to teach my Creative Arts course participants making art from the inside.

I booked this course to improve my technical skills, learn about color composition freshly and come to turn with my old passion for drawing (my early idol has been Horst Janssen). Currently I am fascinated by afroamerican artists of the Harlem Renaissance (Jacob Lawrence, Romare Bearden). Am a lover of the work of persecuted artists of the German Expressionism.
