Independent, creative Canadian woman, primary school teacher with a major in English literature from Saskatchewan, Diploma in Merchandising and Design from Ryerson University in TO, business owner of a unique way to learn English ( and yes, it involves food and cooking), children's theatre founder ( ACTOUT 2019), hobby cook, proud( now fluent) German speaker after living in Europe for over 20 years, interior decorator, lover of : great food, photography, fashion, nature, light at any time of the day, fresh roasted coffee or espresso, children's picture books, antique furniture, patina on wood, coloured glass bottles, candles, fresh pressed cotton and linen, early morning walks, children's laughter, and books, lots of books, poetry too! I have always drawn or painted, even as a young child but was told early on that because I was very smart, art was never going to be the right thing for me. Even though I made plans in other directions, the artist in me kept finding her way home. Now that my main work as a single Mom has been successful, and I have two lovely adults to show for all the love, work and worry, I am carving out time for me once again....the art this time will take first place, not last. Happy to be here and learn once again!
