I am an American Irish artist whose drawings and paintings reference the nature of time - cyclical and paused, geological and momentary, lost and seized, contemplative and purchased. Through diverse subject matter – forgotten landscapes, essential workers, remembered gatherings, my work connects with ideas of loss and celebration.
I exhibit nationally and internationally at venues including Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin, Ireland; The Visual, Carlow, Ireland; Irish Consulate, Atlanta; Mint Gallery, Atlanta; Spartanburg Art Museum, SC; Herron School of Art, IN; University of North Carolina; Red Line Contemporary Art Center, Denver and the Hambidge Center, GA. My work is held in public and private collections including the Irish State Collection, Latvian State Collection, French State Collection, LaGrange Museum, GA.
I am is based in Carrollton, near Atlanta, Georgia, and divide my studio time between Ireland and the USA. I am Professor of Art in the Department of Art, History, and Philosophy, at University of West Georgia.
