Sketchbook Creation: Find Your Own Language

This course is for the ones with a lot of started sketchbooks, people who think that with a bad drawing the whole notebook is ruined. If you assign a theme to every one of them and apply the learnings in these classes to mix styles, you will be finding your own voice in no time.

I found this course extremely inspiring, I am not a confident drawer and destroy most of my drawings. This course has taught me to keep all of my drawings and not destroy as they can be added to or used at a later stage. I initially found the subtitles tricky as I'm English speaking, however I quickly learnt the power of the "Pause Button".

Yes. I do. This course provides methods to trigger creativeness out of your own personal notes. Especially by letting you play with the drawings across the notes using different materials and techniques. Those who like to draw for fun, like me, will be more than satisfied to see how things actually come out of your scribbles.

Seeing Santiago’s thought process was really inspiring. I’ve started journaling again and his approach was similar to mine in some ways but enough to push me out of my comfort zone. Wonderful class, highly recommend.

Es un buen curso para adentrarse en el mundo de los sketch books. Hay bueno consejos y siempre es muy interesante conocer el mundo de los ilustradores. Santiago explica muy bien y el tiempo se pasa volando. Si ya tienes experiencia en esto de los cuadernos de bocetos y los diarios visuales, puede ser que te parezca muy elemental. Sin embargo, yo recomiendo este curso porque te aleja de todo miedo a dibujar.

I'm really enjoying this course

I totally recommend this course - Santiago gave fresh approaches to journalling/ loosening approaches to work and ways to combine patterns/ themes to create a more cohesive body of work. Got some really good ideas to play with .. really liked his influences and exploring his recommendations... also I had not seen his work and am a new fan.. Thanks Santiago for your generous offerings and showing us the process of your work..

this course is very nice if u want to observe and get inspired by different styles. the instructor explains everything very slowly and you can learn. It is not a course to improve your sketching abilities.
