Digital Painting for Characters: Color and Light

After the course, I learned a lot of way to refine a painting that I couldn't do before. I'll definitely use some of his techniques in my future artwork and maybe get a job at a studio

Joel Santana es un gran ilustrador y comunicador. El curso está centrado en el proceso técnico y creativo de Joel, de forma detallada, aunque algunos de sus ejemplos no se encuentran el grosso del capítulo, sino en los elementos extras. Desafortunadamente para mí, estos vídeos no se pueden ver en su totalidad por razones desconocidas.
Es un buen curso para ver cómo Joel trabaja la ilustración, pero comparado con otros cursos aquí, parece un poco olvidado a nivel de la experiencia del usuario.

Me ha gustado mucho la tecnica 3D

De gran manera y las forma en cómo explica son totalmente entendibles, desde lo más básico para quienes están totalmente alejados del tema como un refuerzo para quienes tienen un ligero dominio sobre el mismo, llegando a poder extrapolar el conocimiento obtenido a otro tipo de aplicaciones además de Photoshop. Altamente recomendable el curso.

The course is well explained. Joel is a great artist, so watch him doing all the process of digital painting is very inspiring. He explained everything in a clear and easy way that you get able to repeat the process by yourself and improve your painting.

This course really blew my mind! It helped me understand what do and the mistakes I did while painting. Joel Santana explains everything in a clear and exhaustive way, and his lessons helped me understanding how to organize things, as well as the right process to follow in order to achieve the effect that I want. I can’t wait to start my final projects and put everything I learnt in practice!
