Joel takes us on a journey of fun and discovery in this course on digital painting. He clearly explains and demonstrates his tried-and-tested process of creating beautifully rendered artwork. Although I am not a beginner in painting digitally, I have learned a few techniques from Joel which I will enthusiastically apply to my workflow. This is a fantastic course for a beginner artist.

Joel Santana is knowledgeable and well-spoken. He is very enthusiastic about his craft. I'm glad he shared his influences with the class; it helped me to understand where he is coming from.
You don't have to be a great artist to appreciate and understand light and color and Joel proves that in his course. Thank you for creating this class!

Great introduction to the subject matter, very likeable tutor, funny sketch, valuable resources to download. I’d have preferred the videos in a higher resolution, though – it was a bit fuzzy around the edges on a mere 15" notebook screen, despite fast internet connection. But I’d recommend this course to any beginning digital artist.
