About the video: Influences
Overview
“In this lesson I will begin by telling the great influence that the Spanish book Ramón Llull supposed to me (dated 1306) and as I have discovered that these books that seem so current have been giving away stories and forms for centuries. How looking back I have managed to forge solid structures that seem current and really have the basis in the history of the book. I will also show you some works that fascinate me of engineers whom I admire like Katsumi Komagata (Books to teach to look) or Louis Rigaud and I will show you some current editions I find surprising not only for their structures but for the pleasure in creating stories.”
In this video lesson Silvia Hijano Coullaut (Libracos) addresses the topic: Influences, which is part of the Domestika online course: Pop-Up Book Creation. Learn basic methods for creating your own pop-up book with height and depth.
