You will start the course knowing what is Espacio Crudo, who is part of it and what each one does in the team, as well as some of the work they have done in the last year and their sources of inspiration.

You will discover the power of observation as a generating source of ideas and you will know the creative process of the partners of Espacio Crudo. You will learn a series of exercises to generate ideas and put them into practice.

You will transform your ideas into visual concepts, through mood boards and sketches that will help you to lower an idea to a real plane. Next, you will review the materials you will need for the course.

Being clear about the photos and the preparations that each will entail, it is important to address one of the most important processes related to food styling , preproduction, which includes making the shopping list of food, purchase, preparation and packaging of food.

You will develop photos that tell different points of view of your visual concept, using a lighting scheme with different settings that you will learn to assemble during the course, and you will create a defined and tangible aesthetic.

You will finish the course by post-producing your photos, from the development to the publication on Instagram.

You will take three photographs on the same subject using different intentions of artificial light.

To people interested in photography - especially food - who have previous knowledge of lighting.

What you need

You will need intermediate photography knowledge and some other knowledge about prop styling . You will also need to know how to cook, have cooking utensils and a kitchen at your disposal.

As for photographic equipment, you must have a DSLR or DSLR camera, tripod, studio lights, a computer to visualize the images and other tools that will be detailed throughout the course.
