“In this lesson. i will show you some of my works which are more or less what you might achieve by the end of this course with knowledge of italics and its variations. The first work I want to show you was my initial attempt at italic calligraphy. inspired by a geometric Islamic pattern. I chose Benedetti's poem 'Wonder' to complement the design and enhance its beauty. follow this form. Something interesting that I liked to leave was the grid made with graphite pencil. I believe it adds significant depth to the piece. and I appreciate it so much that. despite it not being perfectly finished....”
