If anyone knows how to create stunning photographs, it is the outstanding photographer Paloma Rincón. Product photography specialist, Paloma manages to transport you with his images to universes full of strength and color.
In his previous course photography in high speed , Paloma already introduced us in the shooting of product. Now, you will learn to work with sunlight to create bright and colorful graphic compositions to present a product or idea by creating visually powerful content that works on social networks.
About this course
You will start by knowing more about Paloma, its origins and how they have influenced your visual universe. It will tell you about what inspires it and what its referents are.
It will give you tips to make your compositions beyond the law of thirds, you will see how to use the shadows as a creative resource and what formats work for social networks.
You will learn to work direct sunlight and see how different types of materials respond to hard light. You will explore the shadows projection of materials with and without transparencies ... it is important that you experiment! Either with materials or with different objects to be able to get the most out of your compositions.
Apps as Sun Surveyor will help you to anticipate the path of sunlight and thus set a time slot to carry out your photo shoot.
You will make a moodboard or style board to land the ideas you have in your head. In addition, you will develop a treatment for each of them: color palette, materials, composition and point of view.
You will explore Adobe Lightroom and Snapseed, really useful applications when taking pictures and editing them.
Camera and action! You will create your compositions by experimenting with the shadows and shoot the images from various points of view. Then you will adjust the exposure using the high beam indicator to check that nothing is burned in the image or underexposed.
Finally, you will adjust the framing, color and light values of the images, leaving them ready for publication. Paloma will give you some valuable tips to reach more followers but doing it in a qualitative way.

What is this course's project?
You will photograph a series of three product images for social networks, implementing the techniques to work the sunlight explained by Paloma, edit them and leave them ready to post on Instagram.

This course is aimed at all creative minds that like to create images. It is a course that starts from level 0 and may interest photographers or future photographers, art directors or designers. It is perfect for beginners, although those with a more advanced level can take the knowledge learned to another level.
What you need
You do not need to have prior knowledge beyond being familiar with a mobile phone with a camera and the use of social networks.
The essential thing is a mobile phone or a camera, colored cards, the objects you want to photograph (a bottle, a glass or cup, liquid and some fruits), find an exterior with sun and an umbrella.
