“In this lesson, I'm going to show you how to make a pattern for the belt loops. And also a pattern for the back pockets. Let's start with the belt loops. On trousers, traditionally you would have five belt loops. two that run through the centre front of each leg. two at the side seam, and one that runs on the centre back. I want to show you a belt loop that sort of straddles and is longer than the actual waistband. so that we have a little tab at the bottom here, which folds underneath and is sewn into the space between the waistband and the trousers.
