“My book has 12 illustrations, so I'm going to be making sketches for half of the book. This way, my portfolio will be a mix of sketches and finished illustrations. When a potential client looks at the images, he'll know what to expect when he's working with me. Let's get to it. Here's one of the images from my storyboard that I've chosen to make into a sketch.
