“In this lesson, we're going to make a larger flat felt piece. which you can use in lots of different ways. I'm going to show you how to make a flat piece and turn it into a beautiful lampshade. But you could also use yours to create a framed art piece like hood part, or perhaps to use as fabric to create a sewn item with. Now before we get started on our flat felt piece, we need to look at shrinkage to ensure we're making the felt the right size for what we need. Shrinkage is a vital part of felt making.
