“In this lesson, we will cover basic scent blending. Many candle distributors offer scent blotter strips. These strips are a quick and easy way to test different scent combinations and to start training your nose to distinguish the notes. We will cover how to do this in an advanced course. To conduct this test, we simply take our blotter strip and we insert it into our first fragrance oil. We shake it off a little bit. Next, we put it into our second fragrance oil, shake it off, and we set it to the side for a couple of minutes. Once our blotter strip has been sitting for a couple of minutes...”
