By no means do you have to completely understand both of these concepts before you get started on your sketchbook, but understanding the fundamentals will definitely be helpful and give you a lot more freedom when you begin sketching. First, let me go over the basics of perspective. In this class, and as I'm sketching, I mainly use two-point perspective.
