“Before we jump into the specifics of Illustrator, I first wanted to mention the different hardware options available to you to draw digitally directly into the computer. First is the most straightforward, your computer mouse. It can be challenging to create drawings using solely your mouse, but it's possible and it's free. Drawbacks include a lack of hand fields with your work. Drawings can end up looking very flat and digital, but if that is the style you're going for, it can work to your advantage.
