“In this lesson we're going to talk about style and proportions. So far our mannequin is pretty realistic. And in our previous lesson we already stepped away from the reference making decisions of our own. And that is style. Now, when we think about dynamic poses we assume they need to be realistic. Like we see in this drawing by Kim Young Gi. Those figures are realistic and anatomically correct. But Kim Young Gi has a wider style. He also draws in a more cartoony style like we see over here. Cartoons are more fun and basic. But it doesn't mean they have less value. Let's have a closer look ...”
