“Now that I've compiled my reference images, I'm going to use them to create a thumbnail sketch that'll give me a better idea of what my final drawing will look like. To start making my thumbnail sketches, I'm going to draw five or so boxes that are roughly the dimensions of the final drawing, which I predetermined is going to be 8 inches by 12 inches.
