“In this lesson we'll be focusing on swatching and then blocking. So the importance of swatching is so that you will get the same gauge as what the pattern requires. Here I have my sample piece. This is going to be my gauge swatch. It's almost complete but I need to cut the threads on the back. And the reason why I made it this way is so that I can get the most accurate gauge by creating an illusion that I am knitting in a circle.
