“ Sketching and Creating Stylized Elements When we're drawing the elements, we're thinking a bit about composition and how this will look on the pattern. You want movement in your pattern. That's why I suggest that you draw the animals in different positions to give them movement. If an animal is walking, maybe that will draw your eye to a certain direction if it's looking in another direction. You also want to do the same with the plants and less with the trees because they're more vertical. With the plants, you can add some movement here. All of this is already predicting how it will look...”
