Stop Motion Animation with Needle Felting

Andrea Love is an independent, self-taught fiber artist and animator. Her unique style combines needle felting and stop-motion animation. She operates out of a small studio in her basement, where she creates art for brands and organizations —ranging from Candy Crush Saga and Disney to the United Nations to Puma. She’s also collaborated on a Christmas music video for Zooey Deschanel and Ingrid Michaelson using only wool. Her short films have been screened at prestigious film festivals across the globe, including the Tribeca Film Festival and Annecy Animation Film Festival. Andrea has amassed a highly active social media presence through her unique work, with millions of followers on Instagram and TikTok. She’s an experimenter at heart, and spent the last decade looking for all sorts of different ways to bring fiber and animation together.
