I loved this course. The artist shows how you can use various types of charcoal to build up a picture and how to use simple techniques to get the feel of a piece without lots of detail. I learned a lot from this course, even though it’s at all not a technical course full of theory. It’s definitely a medium I’ll be playing with. The artist is clear and not afraid to make mistakes and incorporate them in his art, which is a great learning point and his work is inspirational. Highly recommend.

I used to not like charcoal. but it growing on me. the more courses I take and the more I'm about to control it to do what I want it to do. the better artist and painter I am. this course was amazing and it really allowed me to better be expressive and go beyond merely drawing an accurate picture. highly recommend drawing in charcoal to any artist and this course is great way to get started.
