“Basic Beading Exercises So I've put a new thread in the needle and now we're going to work on the teardrop. This is a very similar stitch to the square except for one key difference in the beginning and I will show you that now. Picking out our colors. When beading it's very important to note what's bigger or smaller versus point. Obviously in a teardrop you have a small point and a big point. Starting in the small point will be easier and more structured versus starting in the big point.
