“Layering the Characters In this lesson, we are going to start painting the first layer of our characters. Now this brown one, I will use it for my hedgehog's spikes. For the first layer I'm going to make a mix between the colour of the skin, the brightest version, and the dark brown. I still work with latterly layers. Working with quite a lot of water will help you obtain a nice gradient. A little stain... It happens, it's not a big deal because this is going to be covered by the purple of the scarf. Now let it dry. In the next lesson, we are going to add the second layer of the background ...”
