“Now that you have met me and heard more about my inspiration, I want to show you everything we need for stamp printing. I would like to start with the tools for sketching and for carving. I like to use a sketchbook to sketch, in this case a dot grid, so a dotted sketchbook. I can see much better the proportions of what what I sketch and also the size. You can also just use a sheet of paper. I have also made my sketches on old envelopes, just what I had on hand. I like to use a mechanical pencil for sketching.
