“In this lesson, I'm going to show you the stages of clay and their properties. So the three stages of slip casting clay is the leather hard in the mold ready to come out. the dry and the first fired BISC piece. So I'm going to show you the leather hard piece coming out of the mold. you'll see that it's shrinking away So it's drying. And the slip cast clay is a little bit more brittle than when we're hand building with bags of plastic clay. So this is... in between Wet. and drying, so we call that leather hard.
