This comes in handy when we draw with a brush pen because there are certain marks in the shapes I'm not vibing with, so I'll cover them up with this and draw lines over the chalk pastel. See how automatically that creates this slight gray tone. Just having these marks and stains makes the drawing look more dynamic and it looks like the figures are moving and the shapes look like they're dancing.
