I grew up in a household surrounded by books, and one of my favorite books and one of my favorite authors was Tomi Ungara and his book Titairoipa. This book fascinated me as a child, not only the story, but also the way the illustrations were made. You can see that Tomi Ungara uses a very limited palette of only three colors, actually four if you also count in the white. To make this illustration more interesting, he for example uses watercolor or gouache to create a texture in ...”
