“In this lesson, we will take a closer look at how the poster is made, what kind of techniques and materials are used. I have brought samples where I have used different materials. Nowadays, I work mostly at the computer and the iPad, so I don't have any recent originals. I have brought work that is 30 years old. This work here is made with gouache painting. Before I started working in Illustrator at the computer, I made a lot of work in gouache, because I love this material. It's water-based. If you have a lot of water, it's almost like watercolor, but with less water, it gets very covering...”
