“Now I've got my cool colors and my warm colors, I need to link them a little bit more. So what I will do is I'm going to use my purple as a way to bridge the warm and cool colors together. Okay so in my orange there's some red and in purple there's some red, so purple is made up of blue and red. If I pick up a bit of purple and mix it in with my orange I'll get something of a neutral color, almost like a burnt orange that links the warm colors with the cool colors.
