Basket weaving is one of those ancestral techniques that still captivates us and that we continue reinventing to apply them to the current times. From her workshop in the midst of nature, Idoia Cuesta, a textile creator and creative craftswoman specialized in basket weaving, has managed to make this technique her way of life by applying basketry to interior design, landscaping and fashion projects, in what she delves into the course Techniques of contemporary basket weaving applied to fashion .

In this course you will learn how to make a decorative basket step by step so that you can also explore and investigate new weaving techniques. You will make the structure of your basket from scratch and Idoia will give you all the indications to work with marine fiber (seagrass) and other textile materials.
