As a kid, I was inspired by feathered dinosaurs and the devastating comet changing and destroying almost all life. These days scientists think a lot more dinosaurs were feathered than before. Not a usual subject for a repeatable pattern but a fun twist to create something unique. I will show you how to use this world, this subject, to search for elements representing the story. The earth was hot back then, so I used tropical flowers and leaves shapes to create a tropical world, feathered dinosaurs and, of course, the comet. ”

“In this course, we're going to create a repeatable vector pattern. We will create it partly by hand and partly in Adobe Illustrator. Repeatable vector patterns are very flexible. You can use them on packaging design, surface design for clothing, and all different kinds of applications in campaigns. First, we will define our world. We have to come up with an idea. Then we will create our collage elements. Then we vectorize those collage elements, choose our color, and choose a way of repetition.
