About the final project for: Introduction to Digital Sound Design

Introduction to Digital Sound Design

“Congratulations, you have reached the end of the course. I hope you learned something and I was able to give you some new ideas. It's time to let your imagination and senses run wild and create your own project. To complete your course project, you need to analyze the clip for which you want to create music and sound design. Now use your mobile phones to record some sounds that you can place under the clip. Import the sounds into Ableton. There you can edit them according to the timing of the clip. In the next step, you will use the synthesizers in Ableton to create a melody and a bassline for your production. Finally, the project will be mixed and exported.

In the world of music, as in life, it's all about trial and error, often the first sound isn't the hit. Sometimes you have a concrete idea for a sound, record it and then it doesn't work. Before you discard it, maybe you can use it somewhere else in the same project? Maybe you're about to discover a happy accident. I invite you to use the forum, comment on other students' work and interact with the community. I will respond as soon as possible, but please be patient as it may take a while for me to respond. Good luck and see you in the forum!”
