“In In this lesson, I'm going to show you a few of my favorite artists that have really influenced my work, and I'll show you a few of my favorite pieces by them. Some of the things that have really influenced my work come from my childhood. I used to collect a lot of boxes from candy, makeup, anything that was bright and colorful I would hold onto forever, and I would use it as decor, kind of. My mom would be like, why have you kept this? This is trash. And I would say, no, this is beautiful. And so I had quite the collection of empty things.
