“Hi, my name is Jess Hannigan, and welcome to my Domestika course. I'm a freelance illustrator, and I'm from Ontario, Canada. I always knew that I wanted to do illustration as a career. Ever since I was a kid, I was drawing cartoons, making books, and pretending to draw book covers. Ever since I was really little, I knew this was all I wanted to do. Growing up, I took a lot of painting classes. I did oil painting, watercolor painting, and acrylic. My mom was also really into art history, all of the classics, Caravaggio, Rembrandt, and so I was exposed to these materials really early on too. ...”
