“ Preparing the Workspace It's time to prepare our workspace. We'll start by first measuring and cutting our cord. First, we'll start by cutting our three-ply natural rope that we'll be using for the framework of the piece. Because the framework of the piece will have multiple knots throughout, it will be a medium-density knotted pattern. We'll start with the lark's head knot, tie half hitch knots, clove hitch knots, and square knots.
