Some of those artists are other fiber artists and some of them are creatives in other fields. The first artist that has had a huge impact on my own work over the years is world-renowned artist Windy Chien. Windy Chien is known for her simple, minimalistic fiber art, large installations, and her book "The Year of Knots." After taking up macramé as a creative hobby in 2016, she began exploring the possibility of turning it into a career through private commissions.
