“Recycling the Leftover Clay Now that we have finished our piece, what we should be left with is a lot of clay that is leftover, all those scraps that we cut out of our vase. Those have been sitting around and drying fully in the air. At this stage, they are free of any water, so it's crispy bone dry clay and we can still reuse it in the future. In general, I will encourage you not to throw this away and buy a fresh bag of clay, but I would encourage you to try to recycle it and reclaim it. For that, you will need some water. Usually, you would use a bucket and also one of those plaster bats...”
