“ Finishing the Rosebud Corsage In this lesson, we'll finish the rose stem, the calyx, the leaf branches, and the brooch pin to turn it into a wearable corsage. First, we need to finish the stem. This wire is quite long for what we need it to be. It needs to be trimmed to, I suggest, either 9 or 10 cm or if you're making a long-stem rose, you might need it longer. I'll keep it at 9 cm. Also, we need to build some thickness into it. For that, I'll use some paper ribbon first to bind the wires together and also some thin cotton fabric to add some thickness to my stem.
