“ Influences In this lesson, I will share some of my favorite artists and illustrators that have influenced my work. The first ones are Alice and Martin Provensen. They are a couple from the United States who've made a lot of picture books together, and they also traveled through Europe a few times. During their travels they've kept sketchbooks, and what has really influenced me is seeing these sketchbooks and noticing that you can have more finished pieces and more sketchy pieces side by side.
