I love bedsheets because not only are they accessible and easy to find, but they also provide a lot of yardage. For my size, which is a size medium, I need about two yards to make my prototype. Make sure to find fabric that's non-stretched. There are a few things we have to do to prep our fabric before cutting to make sure we're free of wrinkles, I've ironed and gone ahead and pressed wrinkles out of my fabric.
