“Now that you've gathered all of your materials, tools and the team, let's talk about some basics for shooting. Here we'll go over camera equipment, lens choice, tethering and camera settings. Alongside medium format, I really like to shoot digitally. This is for two reasons. Having a digital backup or failsafe in case anything should go wrong with the film. And secondly, the digital shots act as a proof or as a visual point of reference to check styling, lighting and all those little details. For this, I use a Canon R5 with two lenses, a 24-70mm and a 50mm. And sometimes the 100mm for close...”
