“ Layers and Masking One thing I like to keep in mind with this is I always want to make sure I have a good contrast in photos and an easy way to check that is to go to Image, Mode, Grayscale. Don't panic from these warnings, we're going to undo this anyway. But this gives you a really fast look at maybe what you're missing, all of the values here showing the shadow values and there's not anything that's super dark, there's not a lot of contrast at this point.
