“The Inking Process In this lesson, we'll apply ink to our page. I'd like to start by going with the broad brushes, the broad brushstrokes, and use a sponge to get some strong, basic shapes down. For this, we'll use India ink, which is a beautiful black ink. We'll put that in this little dish, a little splash. This bit is where you have to be a bit bold and go for it. We don't know what will happen and that's the fun. Some of what work we've done will be obliterated, but new things will come.
