“Materials In this lesson, I'll walk you through the materials we'll use for this course. First, we have the paper, the most essential part of it. If you have paper, you can create art even with burnt sticks. This is pretty much traditional size. Classic comic pages are 11 x 17 inches. With paper, there are many surfaces. Some people like a smooth surface and some people like it with more bite so that when the pencil drags on it and when you ink, you get a bit more texture.
