Sometimes, they're called a dirty draft or a quick draft. Often, they're as big as the first draft of a novel, and many pages long. How I write a zero draft is they're relatively short, three to ten pages, and I write them the way I'd write a synopsis after I finished the novel altogether and if I was to send it out to agents and I needed a synopsis.
